From 3–5 November 2025, Vienna hosted the 30th edition of the Conference on Cultural Heritage and New Technologies. This special anniversary edition celebrated three decades of exchange, innovation, and collaboration at the intersection of technology and cultural heritage. CHNT30 was more than a conference—it was a hub for researchers, practitioners, creatives, and decision-makers shaping the future of cultural heritage.
Reflecting on Three Decades
Since the first CHNT, technologies, methods, and approaches have evolved rapidly, while the mission remains constant: advancing the protection and communication of cultural values through innovative technologies. CHNT30 offered the perfect occasion to reflect on past achievements, explore current trends, and inspire new ideas for the years ahead.
