Final Information

The 28th edition of the Conference On Cultural Heritage and New Technologies is about to start. The final preparations are on progress and we look forward to seeing you all tomorrow at the City Hall of Vienna and meeting you online.

ON-SITE PARTICIPATION

All registered persons will receive their name badge at the Registration Desk, which is located in the main venue “Volkshalle”. After you have entered the “Volkshalle”, go to the right, where you will find the Registration Desk. Please do not forget to wear your name badge on all conference days.

The conference will take place in different locations this year.

  • Volkshalle
    Rathaus – Vienna City Hall (ground floor)

    Entrance: Lichtenfelsgasse 2, 1010 Vienna

  • Grinzinger Keller
    Wiener Rathauskeller (cellar)
    Entrance: Rathausplatz 1, 1010 Vienna (there is a direct access route from the Volkshalle to the Grinzinger Keller, which will be marked)

  • Ahnensaal
    Bundesdenkmalamt – Federal Monuments Authority Austria (second floor)
    Entrance: Hofburg, 1010 Vienna (through the “Schweizer Tor” and “Säulenstiege” or “Zehrgaden Stiege” (barrier-free access) into the second floor

    For the Round Tables and Panels, which are located at the “Ahnensaal”, there will be a guide who accompanys you from the Vienna City Hall to the Ahnensaal (15-minutes Walk). Please come to the meeting point in front of the entrance of “Volkshalle”.

  • Naturhistorisches Museum – Natural History Museum Vienna
    Entrance: Burgring 7, 1010 Wien

    For the Workshop “How to connect heritage and public through digital storytelling”, which are located at the Natural History Museum Vienna, there will be a guide who accompanys you from the Vienna City Hall (12-minutes Walk). Please come to the meeting point in front of the entrance of “Volkshalle”.

    Friday, November 17: 9.40 am

ONLINE PARTICIPATION

All registered persons have already received the online access for the conference. We are using the online conference tool “hopin”. A written manual for this tool can be downloaded HERE.

Four conference rooms (called sessions) have been set up on “hopin”. Please check the programme to see where each session / round table will take place.

In addition, we have set up an Exhibition Area to introduce you to our Exhibitors.
